8 Sites for Stainless Steel Jewelry
I hate when my favorite jewelry changes color and becomes unwearable so I’ve switched to almost all tarnish-proof jewelry over the last couple of years.
I’m primarily a silver girly and I love stainless steel jewelry because it never changes color, and doesn’t require polishing or being careful not to get it wet like sterling silver or cheaper silver jewelry does. It also feels sturdy and (in my opinion) always looks great, especially with streetwear or edgier looks!
Today I’ll be recommending some of my favorite places to buy stainless steel jewelry, as well as some new finds. I always love extra recs in the comments too if you have other places with similar styles that you’d recommend!
1. Tunnel Vision
Tiktok-darling Tunnel Vision specializes in stainless steel jewelry as well as ethical manufacturing. Great for all types of stainless steel jewelry and hair clips, mostly in more funky/chunky styles. If you love something buy it quickly because they normally sell out!
2. iGirl
iGirl was founded in 2017 and took off on the internet – they describe themselves as “inspired by Y2K emo culture, mall goths, and punk subculture.” They recently opened a new in-person storefront in Manhattan’s East Village that I stumbled into the other day and loved their jewelry selection. They have lots of cool edgy pieces, and a few more pieces available in person than online if you’re in New York!
3. Lesser of 2 Evils
Lesser of 2 Evils is an independent brand fully specialized in making 100% stainless steel jewelry in small batches. They’re a great place to find stainless steel chains and accessories, and most of their jewelry is unisex!
5. Vitaly
Another cool unisex brand with tons of chunkier options and chains. Vitaly was founded in 2011 and is based in Toronto, Canada. It’s great for streetwear enthusiasts or those looking for a bolder look.
4. Venomiss Body
Venomiss Body is an independent jewelry store launched in 2020 which specializes in body jewelry. They have lots of cute belly rings and other jewelry.
6. HeavenSent
HeavenSent was founded in 2021 and describes their brand as inspired by “90s punk with a trashy glam twist.” They have lots of cute bling that won’t tarnish at affordable prices!
7. Fossil
I hadn’t shopped at Fossil in forever so was surprised to find such a great selection of stainless steel jewelry! Tons of cute options and a bit less edgy than the others on this list. Fossil is part of Fossil Group Inc, a designer and manufacturer founded in 1984, which also manufactures for Armani Exchange, Michael Kors, Diesel, and DKNY among others.
8. Etsy
When in doubt, Etsy also has lots of sellers if you look up stainless steel jewelry! I’ve been finding it harder to weed through the manufacturers and find good stuff on there lately though.
